Ghen Ghen! Militants Give Northerners 4 Months Ultimatum To Leave Niger Delta, Demand For Republic Of Niger Delta
Niger Delta militants have issued an October 1 ultimatum for northerners to leave their region, in response to the quit notice given to the Igbo by some Arewa youth groups. The militants also said the FG should hand over all oil blocs controlled by northerners to the people of Niger Delta.

A legal practitioner and one of the mediators for the release of the 82 Chibok school girls, Zannah Mustapha, has disclosed that some of the abducted Chibok school girls who are still in Boko Haram captivity, refused to be freed during the last negotiation that led to the release of 82 girls last Saturday. Speaking with Reuters, Mustapha said some of the girls have been radicalised.

According to Sahara Reporters who broke the news of the released girls, ‘senior sources in Nigeria’s military have told us that the 82 Chibok girls released by Boko Haram, regained their freedom after intense negotiation with a faction of the militant group’.
